Spring Wild Plant Foods

I scanned and uploaded this chapter on Spring Wild Plant Foods, perhaps a bit too early, from the 'magazine' Foxfire 2, The Anchor Press, copyright 1972. It is one of the most readible / accesible pieces I have read on finding a bounty of nutrional and medicinal edibles in your backyard, without getting too nerdy. Maybe its the Appalachian twang that really appeals to me. Email me (at jamesmorren at gmail dot com) if you want the whole collection of images in a zip file. Wish I knew how to make it a comprehensive pdf.

P.S. If yer curious: I took down (archived) the old posts here. Blog-wise & music-wise I have been on a pretty big hiatus & have only recently been able to check out some good underground shows & events worth hyping on the blogger. I have been learning traditional art techniques (following the Old Masters...), making art for bands, supporting my family w/ the day job & collaborating on some short story work with my wife, Renata - that all has been taking up most of my time. Social networking is not so much a priority these days :)

I hope to catch more shows, organize a show or two soon again, grow a bunch of veggies, forage mushrooms & make some new music again with friends in 2014. Rock n Roll.
