Rye from Japan

[from the archive, 2009 or so] We had the joy recently of experiencing these guys from across the pacific. I was sure glad to have the capabilities to record 'em. They invited us over to hang out 'sometime' - it was a pretty moving get together. Cheers Katz, and other guys who's name I can't remember. Makes me glad to keep making strange music and sharing it around the globe.

Also, just finished reading Ann Hansen's DIRECT ACTION. What a story this proactive lady and her friends have, wreaking havoc on corporate Canada. It goes to the pile of inspiring reads from the summer which include Derrick Jensen's earth first nerd-out in the ENDGAME series, Urban Scout's REWILD OR DIE, and a lovely zine by the Spore Liberation Front, RADICAL MYCOLOGY.
